I agree -- as a matter of fact it is against forum "guidelines" to post only a smilie with no additional dialogue.........its interesting that one of the worst offenders for this posted to your thread....he's got something like a million post counts and I'll bet that 99% are ......sometimes to another post that does not make any sense -- he posts just to post....It IS irritating sometimes to page and page and page through a thread to get to something that actually says something.....there, now I feel better, thanks............

I know what your intent to this post was
and sorry, I couldn't resist...(with all due respect and "Stripes" 1981)

Psycho: The name's Francis Soyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.

Leon: Ooooooh.

Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. And I don't like nobody touching my stuff. So just keep your meat-hooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. Also, I don't like nobody touching me. Now, any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.

Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.

Uh, no, not exactly. Here's the applicable part of the rule.

Emoticons can sometimes be used to express your feelings in a thread without the need for any accompanying text. But a pattern of posting only emoticons gives the appearance that you are guilty of “freeposting” for the purpose of inflating your post count.
