Default CF Suggestion

CF is a great forum. One of the best I have ever encountered.
The quality of people and the amount of information that is available is absolutely spectacular.

BUT...There are a few things that I feel restrict the site from being the PERFECT forum.

When new members join, they tend to ask the same questions repeatedly and most veterans respond nicely and inform this new member about the search function. But when said member uses the search he is bombarded with information that takes hours if not days to scan through.

Why not split the forum up into even more subcategories
I.E.
Interior Mods
Exterior Mods
Off Topic
Detailing
Wheels, Tires, Brakes
Suspension
DIY Mods

& Maybe regions...
South East USA
North East USA
Central USA
Western USA
etc...

Also maybe a COTM (corvette of the month) ?

Just my .02 cents. Its constructive criticism at the most.
Hell, I wont actually be a corvette owner for at least a year.

Anyways,I already love this site and seem to be checking it a lot more than I should

If you noodle around a bit you'll find many of the one's you suggest are already in existence...regional sections, a car care section, off topic, tech/performance (modifications, etc.), wheel and tire section, et cetera. The C6 FAQ's section is a wealth of information (including DIY's) at your fingertips without having to do a formal search. The Corvette Forum could sub-categorize even further but I think they've got the subject matter covered and itemized pretty well.

AMAZING!!Look to the left and hit forums and you'll see the column that will allow you to go to THE EASTERN REGION,SOUTHERN,,WESTERN and all over....also happens to be in the same column where "OFF TOPIC" is...which this may qualify for, btw. The search function seems to give up a ton of info when it is asked, but in my experience lately,it never gives up what I'm looking for!!

Ok I agree, I did miss all those sections. Mainly because I haven't ventured out of the C6 section.

I still think that Interior and Exterior should be added in each corvette section.

Mods can delete this forum and the other repost if they wish

The FAQ's is where I learned a ton of information when I first joined. I spent a whole weekend in there when I first started.

Here's the link. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...tions-new.html

It's also a sticky at the top of C6 Gen. My buddy Rich runs it now.

Hello Newman.

You have some ideas there! Maybe you should start your own forum!
