Rejex..Two coats 12 hrs apart. And the car cover keeps slipping off....
Notice you can see the reflection of his wheel coming off the reflection of my car.
Is this a newer bottle? Perhaps a different size cause my bottle doesn't look like that.
Z-CS is 29.95
Z-8 is 19.95
But I still use them with ZFX, Z-7, Z-6, Z-5, Z-2
Some people get by just using one of the selected polishes Z-5 or Z-2 top off with Z-6 and ZCS
True, the Z-CS is expensive, but also the greatest thing since sliced bread. The "fire & forget" technology is right up my alley. Fortunately, it has a 5+ year shelf-life, so $29.95 every 5 years is not a big deal. Also, I don't use the Z-8, but rather the $9.95 Z-6, which is also a 5+ year shelf life. I use the Z-7 car wash, but with a foamer, which makes a bottle last a very long time. There is zero waste using a foamer.

No, that bottle is actually 2 years old, and was packaged in 12oz bottles. You just don't use much so it lasts a long time. I went out today and bought another bottle, and the store had the traditional 16 oz bottle..
Although the shine from NXT and Zaino are similar the big difference IMO is Zaino is easier to apply (takes me about 45 min to do the whole car start to finish, goes on easy and comes off even easier) and it lasts much longer. If you put a coat on every month the longevity is no big deal, though. I tend to do three applications a year.
But we digress. To the OP I agree that it's best to strip the old wax with Dawn.
And with Zaino, remember the "less is more" theory. You should use less than 1 oz. to do one coat on a Vette.

most correct. it's only a micro thin film that cures and stays on the surface. the old "glob the wax on" thing is just not where its' at.
to make it easier... spray a light film of z6 detailer on the applicator before you begin..and during the polishing process.. this helps to spread the Zaino more evenly and cut down on "globbing" in areas. Cure time is 30 min in 70+ ambient... and buffing takes nothing to take it off.
Tried several - NEVER USE turtle wax -
Zaino for the vette, like that deep shine with multi coats
REJEX for rims, bottom front, lights and kids cars - they don't polish very often
NXT2 on F-150 Super Crew and Wife's car - really looks good
hard to tell which is better Zaine and NXT 2- cost is close to the same

I tried many different waxes/polishes over the years. Not saying anything bad about any other polishes, but this is my experience.
6 years ago I read here that corvette owners loved Zaino. At that time I did not own a Corvette. I had a RED Dodge Dakota R/T 5.9liter, single cab. I applied a coat of Zaino one evening after my wife went to bed in the garage. The next morning I pulled the truck out of the garage and my wife (not a car nut like me) said ... WOW what did you do to make it shine like that ! I was also flored.. the red paint really got deeper and it was incredible. I was sold.
Then I got my Machine Silver Z06 new in 2004. It is hard to really make Silver paint "shine", but I have been asked many times at shows how I got my Z06 paint to look like that. If you rub your shirt on the paint its smoother than a teflon coating. Its really amazing.
Also... Zaino tire shine, and leather conditioner is the BEST I have tried !

I've read 2 statements in this thread that have me baffled. 1. applying wax to clear coat. Why would anyone, ever consider using a wax on clear coat. You polish the clear coat. And 2. Zanio is hard to use.
Zanio is very easy to apply and wipe off and it polishes as well as protects clear coat finishes, which are the 2 most important things necessary to maintain any clear coat.
