To the OP: I have seen this before with the GM ZR1 spoiler. The problem is that the holes you drilled are too small. Drill a larger hole so that the bolt doesn't touch the rear fascia piece. But don't drill to larger than the washer flange attached to the bolt. You'll know it's large enough when you can move the spoiler a bit when sitting in the holes. Then just position the spoiler evenly and tighten down the nuts and you should be good to go.

I had gaps and bulges with the GM part until i thought about drilling the holes in the fascia larger. Hope this helps.

I had pieces not fit on three occasions. The first time I had to pay shipping to send a defective part back to be fixed. The second item that didn't fit I trimmed myself to save the shipping back. The third time I just said enough is enough. I couldn't stand the aggravation and sent the parts back for a refund. Of course I had to pay shipping both ways to end up with nothing. I believe for the prices charged, it is unconscionable to stick people with shipping for bad parts. I got the balance of my parts from TKO instead.

Everything I have purchased from Jersey has been top quality. He is a great guy to deal with. My husband has installed all the pieces and they all fit perfect.

sorry to hear about your experience. i went to check out apsis's shop bc im pretty local to them. the CF peices looked good but i couldnt justify it with the prices. there is no possible way any carbon fiber wrapping should take that much.

i asked for a quote to wrap my chin spoiler from WCC. he told me that i should buy his chin spoiler bc its "nicer" and that it would only cost me $100 more then if he were to wrap mine.

oh and do NOT expect them to work out any sort of deal no matter how much you are willing to do/spend

not a good buisness man

Default Any story has two sides

Hi Guys,

Just see this post today. Thanks for the thumb up from so many customers.

Any story always has two sides. Let me share with you what happen and you will understand we are not unreasonable.

This customer purchased our ZR1 spoiler. Then he called us to advise our spoiler won't fit perfectly so we sent him a replacement one without any question.

Then he refused the delivery for the 2nd spoiler. He sounded that he had some issue with his body shop. I didn't know exactly what it is since it's not my business. After that, he decided to return the very 1st painted spoiler to us too and asked us to refund him including shipping for both spoilers so I refused.

Then he asked us to refuse the delivery of his 2nd return so the spoiler will go back to him and then he will deal with his body shop for whatever the issue and then he will return that spoiler back to us. I just think this is a rediculous transaction.

After we received the painted one that he claimed it didn't fit and said it's crap, we installed it on our C6 and I personally check it carefully that it fit perfectly. There is absolutely no gap whatsoever. So we conclude this is customer's improper installation.

For this deal, we ended up losing money from the shipping per customer's request. We let him take the benefit of doubt but we cannot accept that he refused the delivery of 2nd replacement spoiler. I believe all of you that if you put your foot in our shoes you will feel the same.

Then he vigously fought with us that it's all our falut and we have to refund him everything including shipping. I told him that we indeed did him favor to waive the restocking fee and we had lost money from shipping the 2nd spoiler that he refused the delivery so we couldn't refund the first spoiler including shipping. We have stated very clearly in our invoice and on our web that our liabilitly is limited to the value of the products only. But he turned around and argued that we didn't specifically use the lettering saying "we won't refund for the shipping". So I told him that if he wanted to interpret our statement that way, then he had to go to credit card company to claim for the shipping refund and we will follow the credit card company's judgement.

I really don't think we did anything wrong in this case. We had sent the refund check for two spoilers but without the shipping.

English is not my native language and I do have strong accent. I am sorry that some customers can't understand me fully on the phone. But that's nothing I can do.

Interesting.... over the past 6 years, I've purchased many parts from Jersey and the folks at APSIS. I've always considers his service spot-on and have found his products to be of the highest quality. An excellent forum vendor with a wide variety of mods that will have you coming back for more ~ responsible for putting many a dent in my checkbook.

Funny how the OP neglected to mention the other spoiler being shipped and refusing deivery etc.... There are always 3 sides to a story the truth lies somewhere in the middle of both sides usually.

I bought my Z06 style lip from Jersey and the fitment was near perfect. Took a little tweaking but nothing unreasonable for the lack of other options. I live local to Apsis as well and when I went to buy the lip pretty much everyone in the shop stopped what they were doing to show me how the parts would look pressed up to my car. We even had a good laugh about how my signature looked "chinese", haha.

I have to be honest, I got home that day and realized that I meant to buy another vendor's lip. It was a completely brainless maneuver on my part and I even somehow worked up the courage to email Jersey and explain my mistake. He was very reasonable (considering my stupidity) and said that he would take back the lip for a restocking fee or I could apply the purchase price towards something else in their inventory. How would you feel if someone said they accidentally purchased your product??? I ended up installing the lip and fell in love with it. Its my favorite part of the car.

My pictures tell the story. End of story. When you specifically tell the customer there are no gaps with no drilling and then it turns out there are gaps, that's just plan lying. I don't want excuses later. " oh you can drill holes or sand down the edges to make it fit." wtf.. the only reason I bought this was NOT to drill holes. If I wanted holes I could have just bought OEM at the same price ( if not even less!) OVERPRICED JUNK! I didn't accept the 2nd spoiler bc my painter was not going to paint another one unless I paid another $250.

I told him by email I was picky about gaps. Maybe to you, they are not noticeable on your c6 but the pics don't lie. Also I can give a rats *** if it fits your car. I BOUGHT THIS SO IT WOULD FIT MINE! Next time, don't lie to your customers then you won't have these problems.

I tried the install twice (correctly both times) still didn't work. If I was happy with it, I wouldn't be wasting my time crying about it. These deceptive business practices are unacceptable. You've wasted both of our time. thanks. mods lock this thread bc jersey has just been toasted... end of discussion.

Thanks very much for the kind words about my car folks. I'm really happy with the way it's turning out, I think that the JSB and carbon accents look great together. Next on the list is possibly the APR side skirts and maybe the CF headlights, but I'm still pretty undecided on those. Then I'll start on the interior

Also to the OP, I'm sorry the the thread hijack. And while my experience with Jersey has been nothing but positive, I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you're having. There are few things more dissapointing than making a purchase that you're really excited about and having it not turn out the way you'd hoped.
