To me, and this is just my opinion, when I see a white Vette, I assume it's a woman driving it. There's nothing wrong with a woman driving a sports car, but white Vettes just look feminine to me, compared to other colors.
I had heard that silver was tops. I agree...I'd want to see the stats to arrive at this number. As a marketing professor and doctoral student, I can tell you that if you "punish" the numbers enough you can prove anything! If they are including work trucks and such, the numbers are VERY skewed.
Not sure why white is the least produced color Vette, It looks good but in my opinion unless you add some aftermarket wheels and other exterior touches it just does not stand out as much as many of the other colors do.

I was considering a white 08 coupe when I bought mine. When I was looking at it in the showroom I was talking to a lady I didn't even know and didn't work there. I said, "this white one looks pretty clean". Then she said, "why would anyone spend that much money on a Vette to get white, they look like a major appliance driving down the road". It was stupid, but I couldn't get it out of my head. I bought the atomic orange with the comp grey wheels and drove it home soon after.
After I just finished detailing(Zaino) my AO Vette last weekend and was admiring the sparkle in the sun, I asked my wife why anyone would buy a white Vette. She has has a couple of white cars, OK, but not for a Vette.

I think light blue is more of a feminine color, I bought my first white Vette year and really like it. It is not for everyone I must say.
I can just picture Suzanne Somers sitting in this car.

Right, Its a good place to start, like a blank canvas...

I don't know about this one!! I've ALWAYS seen more grey/gray/silver/charcoal colored vehicles on the roads! Like about 40-50% of what's on the roads everyday!!
I think a White Vert with a Red Interior is a SHARP combo. So much in fact, that when I order my C7 ...that is exactly the combo I intend to get. I have HAD IT with my "Black Beauty"...
