Default Observation . . . . . .

Since owning a 2002, 2006 & 2008 I see every time I bring it home I need to get the California Duster and clean the rear rear of the car.
They are dust magnets. Any way to prevent this short of leaving it in the garage?

Try always driving in reverse... course then you'll be dealing with the nose being a dust magnet

I drive it in the rain, that makes it dirt instead of dust.

Still gathers first on the rear.

If you have ever seen a C6 wind tunnel test you would see why the rear gets so dirty so fast. The wind coming off the top and bottom of the car creates what looks like a tornado around the rear panel. It really is quite amazing to see it.

It's all aerodynamics...can't be solved, unless of course you can spray some anti-static spray after you wax it. Maybe that will keep the dust from sticking to it!

good coat of wax helps. It will tend to stay cleaner longer.

Just keep the duster handy. No way to stop the dusty butt.

Any cam tail car will do this. It shows you just how good the design is .
I like mine when the whole ars end of the car is covered in mud, rock on.

Thanks for posting, very cool! I wouldn't have guessed at the convertible C6 convertible being better than the C5 coupe with the headlights up but I guess it makes sense.
