Default roofing nail AND sheet metal screw

separate events, on each driver side GY RF tire, center of tread.
Goodyear dealer was able to plug & patch each time for $35.
Thousands of miles later, zero issues/problems.
I'm still gonna replace em with the Firestone RFs.

No question in my mind...for street driving I prefer the security of runflats.

But did the run flat even work in this situation?

I think that constitutes as a concealed weapon

If you ever pick up something like that when you're miles from nowhere, you'll realize how worthless runflats are. I wish my C6 had a spare tire after the experience I had. And if you travel much, and haven't spent the night in a srnage place wondering where your next tire is coming from, or when you might get home - you WILL.

Runflats do have their critics and for some valid reasons but for me they provide that bit of security and peace of mind.

I like not having a spare and not having to put it on in the rain or busy highway.
