Default CCW Wheels.....

I am considering getting new wheels and keeping my options open. I have come across CCW wheels and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the company and their wheels. If so, how is the product, customer service, etc. I am considering their T10 wheel; very sharp in my opinion.

Do a search on CCW. You will have a hard time finding a better co. to do business with and their wheels are top notch.

I went with Powder Coated Comp Greys for two reasons.
1- Im lazy and would rather be driving than cleaning
2- Love the look

Hey dude...I've had numerous sets of CCWs over the years, including the first set of 19/20s T10s on my old C5. You really won't find a better company in terms of customer service. You'd be hard pressed to search old threads and find anyone with a problem that wasn't resolved quickly and fairly.

Now, you need to realize the polished aluminum wheels take a tremedous amount of work to keep looking good. I know you don't take your car out in the rain, but even with washing, you have to dry every surface of the wheel or it will leave waterspots on your freshly polished wheels. The inner barrels are also polished, and they require quite a bit of maintenance as well. Even though I've never had my car in the rain, I still take them off every 2-3 weeks and polish them inside and out!

Here's a quick pic of the T10s on my C5

Great wheels, great vendor - you can't go wrong! I don't think you will hear anything but good from the forum guys about CCW. Probably the least complained about wheel company everrrrrr! In fact, I don't ever remember a complaint about the company - only about keeping the polished wheels looking good!

I had an anodized finish on my Z for awhile:

Wholeheartedly! I have the polished rims and if I had to do it all over again, I'd have gotten them chromed! Too much work and my car is garage-kept. If you ever get caught in the rain, you have to dry & clean them immediately or the heat from the rotors sets the stains even harder. They are great wheels but the upkeep is a biatch!!!

I have CCW 505a on our daily driver, every 3 months on average I take them off for a cleaning. Got some cleaner polish called blingmaster and it works really good and then I sealed them with Rejex really works for my daily driver

I think CCW is one of the best wheel manufacturer's. They make a first quality, made in the USA product at a reasonable price and their customer service is terrific (before, during and after the sale). John (at CCW) is what I consider to be a true wheel fitment expert....given the proper information for what you have and what you want and he'll set you up right. Both my street and track wheels are CCW and I'm ordering additional CCW track wheels this week.

Does anyone know if they have a Mesh 8 wheel similar to the COR or Forged 360 wheel? I don't see one on their site.

We all know naked aluminum is hard to maintain, is that what you have also; because clear coated aluminum is no different than stock wheels or taking care of the paint.

Yep, they're just basically naked aluminum. I probably should've asked first. I've got a couple of minor road rash issues on 2, I'll get that fixed and send them in to get chromed. I still love the wheels nonetheless!!!

I've got CCW SP16a wheels and I love them (also get a lot of positive comments). Working with CCW was a pleasure. They take care of there customers. See "My Corvette Photos" and my car is in CCWs SP16a Corvette Gallery on their web site.---John

Ive got the T10s as well. They require some xtra effort but well worth it. If they had a brushed or satin finsh I might go for it
