True, because of the partition from the trunk in the convertible. I had them on my convertible and the drone was there, but liveable for me.
Fit and installation is another story...after spot welding and adding brackets to keep the passengers side over the axle pipe from hitting the frame duing turns if was finally fixed, but major PITA. Old story holds true, "you get what you pay for". Corsa or Borla next time.
Anyone running flowmasters on their C6? I have 07 mn6 coupe and it is too quiet. Would like a little muscle car noise but not too much drone when cruising. How do the flowmasters sound?
Nothing like the sound of Flowmasters! I love mine, drone and all!
It's subjective. There is cabin noise around 1500rpm. I've put 36,000 miles on my coupe with flowmasters and love them. Done 8+ hour roadtrips with them and no noticeable fatigue. But the noise is there.
A guy in our Vette club has flowmasters on his A4. They have a deeper tone than Corsa sports for sure. He says there is very little drone with his setup.
