So what do they do when you put on the brakes? Flashers? Are these legal?

A sequence of two lights flashing does not stir me. Three lights would be way better. I remember the Mercury Cougar had three sequential lights. Now THAT looked cool.

To each his own.

I'd love a set for my Mustang but I'm not feeling them on the vette. Maybe it's me but sequentials have always said "Ford" to me. I remember owning a 66 T-Bird that had them.

I remember when I was a young kid and saw the '69 cougar with them and I thought is was soooo coooool that I just had to have them on my Vette. Maybe it's just a childhood dream to have them, but hey, so was my Vette!

Looks great, I did the same thing and the LED lamps made the sequential effect even more strikeing.

I bought the sequential lights for my my former Vette, the 97 C5 a while back. I admit they look different and , but they don't last !

A year later they were acting up, like the turn signal would light up but not blink, so I removed them and tossed them in the trash

Never considered installing them on the C6.

When did you buy the sequentials? I know they went through a design change that improved sealing and eliminated water ingress that potentially led to corrosion.

[QUOTE=coolcat;1571053203]The effect is better when there are three lights on each side.

I agree but after watching the video, 2 look better than I imagined they might...

If I'm not mistaken, the sequential function on the old Cougars and T-Birds operated ONLY with the turn signals, not the brake lights or emergency flashers. I personally don't like it with the brake lights.

Just bought them a few weeks ago (August 2009), and they have a Red Rubber Boot that seals the unit very well.
