Default CAGS Defeat

I have a spare new cags defeat plug I bought for my LS2 car. I know it's the same one I used on my LS1. Will this part fit the tranny in my 09?
Thanks

There is a fix for that that is free of charge. Right foot down no issues with skip shift.

With the NPP always open the cags hasn't blocked me out of second yet. I wind it up a bit more just for the sound, OK and fun too,. I have a new in the wrapper Bypass and just want to install it so CAGS NEVER controls me.
BTW, thanks joshisurdaddy

Don't you guys ever have miles of stop and go traffic where you can't put the right foot down?

CAGS will get in the way if you actually use these cars a lot on the street.

Not where I live. Only if I visit Baltimore or DC and I would never take the Z there anyway. We roll in style when in the city. My wife's Mini-van. The doors are dinged and who cares what happens to it.

Forget miles of stop-and-go, just one car single ahead of you at the stop sign and you can be in the clutches of CAGS. Disable it and you're back in control of gear selection, which was the whole point of buying a manual in the first place.
