I have had it on my car for two years I followed the detailed directions and has not peeled off which is the main complaint with it..
Last summer I drove thru something and splashed on car, long story short Cleartastic pc protected the car, it did stain the pc of Cleartastic which looked bad but better than cars finish... I bought another kit this spring when one of the forum vendors had a great sale and replaced the stained pc which was really a eye sore since it was dark and I have a V Yellow C6... Needless to say I would recomend it but only my 2 cents.

Its a true 8 mil so it will protect great. Whats nice with the regular Cleartastic, you can remove the piece, clean the area and then clean the piece (to remove that dirt build up you mentioned) then Re apply it!

Both the Cleartastic and Cleartastic are designed so you can easily apply it yourself. Its been around and protecting Corvette paint for over 10 years.
