20 minutes is NOT long enough to get everything up to operating temp and allow time for condensation to be eliminated. If you can't or don't want to let it run at least 45 minutes then don't start it at all. IMO you shouldn't start it at all.
Last Winter I put Stabil in, filled the tank, washed and wax, put a few extra psi in the tires, hooked up the battery tender, put some heavy wool socks over the exhaust tips, mice repellent around the garage, covered it up. Did not fire it up until the Spring...it started on the first crank.

With Labor day around the corner, talking about this is actually depressing.
We had a really crappy, cool and wet summer here in the Northeast.
Will I run into problems if I have to remove the battery for the winter? I know about the window re-indexing, but will there be any major issues if the C6 has no power for 5 months?
I may have to put my C6 in storage this winter with no access to power for a charger. I’m in the process of building a new 4-car garage, but I’m hung up in a damn zoning variation and I don’t think it will be resolved in time to get it built before winter.
Currently have 4 vehicles and a 2-car garage.
I store mine in Michigan's U.P...............disconnect the negative terminal.....no problems, just reset the radio buttons

Thanks to all. Yes I would love to be in a warm climate 365 days a year.
The Canadian winters are starting to suck, as the winter sports are out and the summer ones are in.
