I apologize for not coming back sooner to the forum, but since I had all of my customers taken care of, it was time to spring back into action and getting a place of business.
It was a great feeling to have multiple businesses call me and offer me a position, and perhaps it was some friends at GM, but for the last 2 or 3 weeks I was interviewing, daily, and several repeat stops at each establishment.
I am making the formal announcement in my specials list thread, so please check it out.
At the same time, I decided to try and help the Lankfords with their complete parts inventory and I purchased their whole inventory, so I have parts in trucks, etc, at the new place... so I'm trying to get situated.
What I can say is that the support and the help and the messages from this forum is just humbling. As I have said before, I will not forget it and you, my customers and friends, will benefit.
Believe it or not, during this trying time, I also sold my home, after 2 years on the market, and I am in the middle of purchasing another home and closing October 23rd. You all know what happens when I have life changing events right? You save more money.... keep an eye out because I'm about to obliterate some inventory.
