Default Auto window function @ exit...HELP!

Hail to all those with abundant C6 knowledge!
All of a sudden when I exit my car the window when I close the door, both driver and passenger side, do not go back up!!!
Can anyone tell me if this is common, and is the fix as easy as a fuse?
So any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
I'll sit here and wait for the brilliant help!

Need to re-index the windows. Get in car; close doors. Push window switches up. Hold for three or four seconds after window stops. Then without putting windows down, push both buttons up and hold again for a few seconds.

Have you replaced your battery recently -- or should you ? Those are generally the circumstances where you need to re-index the windows . . .

Thanks so much. I just got back from Iraq and was assuming that replacing the battery was somehow involved. If only all of life's problems could be re-indexed Once again, I am humbled by the collective sage wisdom of our forum members.

Sounds like your battery won't last much longer. Any time you disconnect the battery for more than a few seconds, you will have to reset the window indexing as indicated above.

99% of the time, that's the only thing you'll have to reset.
