Default Corvette conversions

It seems to be debateable whether or not a Corvette body should modified so much. One thing is for sure, Corvette must be the most modified car body around. Back in prehistoric times, there were no bolt on custom body parts. I don't think the style of a Corvette is perfect, but darn close. There are some after market body parts that do improve the look of the car. But, to each his own.

Why is that debatable? If you've got the money and don't care about what other people say, what's there to debate?

I really do like my SLP hood... As they say, "every pig to his own slop!"

Whoa. I thought the C3 was ugly. An unmodified C3 is beautiful compared to that monstrosity. Of course, that is just my styling taste.

If you frequent the Corvette forum it seems like a high percentage of C6 owners are doing body conversions but I think of all C6 owners the percentage is fairly low. As for the most (body) modified car I'd guess it would be an import. Body kits are extremely popular with the import tuner crowd and they have been for many years.

I never had the urge to dress-up my C6 to look like a Z06 or sport a raised/scooped hood (without a blower) but to each their own...we all have different likes, dislikes and preferences. Vive le difference!

I ment to say, that allot of people have said they don't like mods and of course allot of people have said they do. The debate is simply a discussion, do mods help the look of the car or not. Get it?

I've done body mods to mine, really makes no difference to me what people think about it. The only person I did it for was for "ME".... it's all about me and what I want
Although every where I go I get nothing but great comments and people strike up conversations.
