momo shift knob ?
The one thing to think about is the height of the shift ****. If you go with a model like the F16Evo, the **** sits really high on the shifter, and is way too high for use in the Vette. It works okay on a shifter mounted low on the floor, as long as you don't mind lengthening your shift movement (kind of opposite to what people usually want to do, but...).
Also - you might have more problems getting a boot to fit properly. The MOMO base is smaller than the stock Vette, so you'll either need to get MOMO's trim ring adapter (which can work, but it's not a perfect fit), or use their shift boot.
I have a Combat Evo on mine, with a DSV boot and MGW shifter, and it's a pretty good match. It's almost exactly the same size (heightwise anyway) as the stock shifter. I also have the Airmetal to try out, but it's still sitting in the closet.
