Default c6 battery
I have my 05 c6 at the dealer for a column lock code and the car wont start, my old battery was dead evidently so i put my brand new boat battery in the car and now the dealer is saying i need new battery before they can diagnose it further: just curious has anyone heard that u cannot use a marine battery in a corvette

I haven't heard that, but I had a similar issue with my c6. I told them to stick one of their batteries in to diagnose it and then put my battery back in it when they were done. Not going to buy ANOTHER brand new battery .
