Header Pre-Install
Some certain big auction site headers are headed to my house. Here is what the auction claims is included
"Brand new in the box, packed well and ready to go! These hot new C6 headers will arrived mirror polished and ready to bolt on. Catless super high flow, and awesome sound.
Specs:
2" Primaries
3" FireCone Collector
3" X-Pipe
Bolts up to stock rear exhaust system (reduces to 2.5" at coupler for this connection)
Mirror Polished!
2-Bolt muffler flanges
All hardware and gaskets are included
.069" wall thickness stainless - as thick as OEM."
My question is; what else do I need to order for a smooth install once they get here? Ive been told about O2 simulators?

you're going to need either 02 extenders or tie up the secondary 02 and shut them off in the ECU.
you will need a tune, and just set it so that all the test pass (pm me if you need the settings)
keep in mind that your car will reek of unburnt fuel and it will be 2-3 times louder and will amplify the drone.

I have those headers on my A&A supercharged 07. They needed some cutting on the passenger side to fit up to the X pipe, but other than that they are pretty decent. The header flange is nice and thick which does make them seal well. As for no cats... if your tune is halfway decent it won't smell too bad, but you will notice alot more "exhaust" smell than with a catted car.
