There are butttons or levers on each side of the car down by the sill plate. What are these for.

I thought it was to activate the ejector seat. Then I read the owners manual. It was very helpful

As noted, these are mechanical release levers for the doors (emergency release) in the event of a power failure.

Covered in your owners manual.

With all due respect...read your owner's manual. It contains a wealth of valuable information.

Emergency tire inflators. If you keep pumping them real hard, your tires will inflate.

For use only when the Computer Controlled Electronic inflators for the runflats doesn't work.

You know; When you bring up tire pressure on the DIC and regardless of what numbers you enter the computer won't inflate the tires to the desired pressure. I hate it when that happens!

Those handles/cables are so you can get OUT of the car with no power, but you do also know that there is a cable on the drivers side wheel well in the rear hatch area that allows you to get IN the car if you have no power, right? You use your key to open the rear hatch, key switch/slot is just above the rear license plate, and then you pull the cable to open the drivers side door.

What a great option that would be. Imagine the possibilities.

The door releases are also useful when you don't get the door quite closed, but you're already in gear and rolling. You can't use the normal button to open the door unless the (automatic) tranny is in park, but you can lift the lever to open the door.
