Would really like to hear some feedback on those winter tires. Most of our roads are covered with hard packed snow and ice from Nov till April and I would love to be able to drive my C6 during the winter.
I drove all last winter - every day - in the fifth-snowiest winter in the history of Michigan with the Pirellis. Drove with total confidence on packed snow, deep loose snow, etc. Pure ice is pretty much impossible, but these tires are as good as it gets there as well.
Lane changes through heavy slush on the freeways are a bit dicey with the wide tires and marginal clearance, but I was/am totally comfortable with the Vette as my DD through Michigan winters.
I had Dunlop M3s on my GTO and these are every bit as good.
People always comment about driving a Corvette in the winter; vehicle weight and 4wd don't help you slow down or turn in an emergency - grip does and that's all about tires.

Something you folks who live in states that are broke, have extremely high sales tax and real estate priced about 10 times its actual worth wouldnt know
Texas is not broke yet. Sales tax is 8.25%. No income tax. Houses are not 10 times over priced. And we don't need no stinking snow plows.
