I had the same problem with the temperature sensor fan last winter when the cold weather finally arrived (and the car was only a few months old). I think the sensor being mounted to the dashboard amplified the buzzing sound so I simply disconnected it from the dashboard and left the sensor hanging by its wires. Problem fixed (to my satisfaction, at least).

I haven't noticed any issues. I figure the sensor's now sampling the air that's directly underneath the dash (since the unit is now simply hanging from the wire) rather than from in front of the dash. And my usual setting is floor vents only but it doesn't seem like the sensor is seeing just the heated air from the vents. I leave the inside temperature set at 74 and even with an outside temp of the high 40s or low 50s, it's comfortable.

This is unbelievable!
I was going crazy wondering where that buzzing sound was coming from. It sounded Like it was coming from the engine compartment. But what could be making that sound from there?
Thanks for the OP. I hope the dealership has good ears.
I plan on telling them about the Buzz, the cracked starter button and the noisy differential, when I bring it in for my oil change.

Another considerations regarding Buzzing or Vibration noise which seems to be coming from inside the dash. This is however dependent upon speed, wind velocity and sometimes direction.
Check your windshield cowel - the black plastic strip below your windshield wipers and covering the lowest part of your windshield.
Basically tape it down alternating each side take it on the highway see if the buzzing or vibration stops. If so get it replaced at the dealer- warranty service for those who still got it.
Nonetheless it's responsibile for a number of complaints about dash vibration or buzzing. Check it out might work for you.

First time the dealer used silicone to adhere the cowl piece to the window. Noise stopped but the cowl piece started to tear at the seams. Dealer replaced the whole cowl piece.

I love this forum and now know what the buzzing problem is. Now, I have to determine if the buzzing is more annoying then some mechanic ripping my dash apart and possibly creating another problem....
Thanks

I have pulled that little fan out (The one next to the ignition button) and found that to be the culprit. I will take it to the dealer for replacement as the part is like $60-$70

Yeah, that's definitely the culprit. It amazes me all the cheap little components they put in such an amazing machine.
