Default Decisions.....

I'm trying to make a decision between a 08 1lt z51 npp for with 8k miles for $33000

or a 07 3LT z51 with 44k miles for around $28500

the 08 its in Virginia so i will have to pay for the flight and also the expenses of bringing the car back to FL, the 07 its here in FL so no extra expenses

I know the ls3 its not available on the 07 and also no warranty left on the 07

what do you guys think

I'd go for the lesser miles, newer car, LS3 and warranty.

^ you can do alot later...or think that you will at least lol...the warranty is a nice thing to have for expensive items...I would go with the 08...you can always add 3LT options later if you decide you "gotta have them".

Assuming both cars are mechanically sound and have comparable features and amenities (options, color, etc.) there's no question IMO. Go with the newer, lower mileage vehicle. All things being more or less equal (and unless you plan on selling the car within the next year or two) you're always better off going with the newest model you can afford. If you keep the car a fair number of years the higher price paid will be more than 'compensated' for over time.

Normally I would say the 3LT option, but with the difference in mileage I would live without the options I vote '08 also

Another vote for the 08, though I do have to admit that jetstream blue is the best color offered in 08! You will have tons of compliments on that color!

Thanks!! I think it will make more sense to buy the 08

Now I'm at a dealership and the offered me a base coupe no options
for $40000 OTD , it's around $ 37000 before taxes and registration

I don't race to the point I will lose sleep over the z51
I would love the sound from the npp but I guess I can added
later

it's that a good deal?

Tim at boardwalk has this one listed. He seems to be the cheapest if you want to guage prices but I don't know how CA prices compare to FL prices. The only thing I dont like is the yellow

1. Velocity Yellow/Ebony 1LT MN6 QX1 Z51 NPP MSRP $51,930 Sale $37,999

Plus, $ 33,000 for an 08 is a pretty good deal !

Even though I have a "like new" '07, 3LT with 9k and love it, I'd get the '08 because it's newer, etc.
