Default Programming options

I just entered the C6 world after having multiple C2's, C3's and C5's. (Still have the 78 Silver Anniverary). I can program the personal options on the DIC when the engine is running, but cannot get into it from any other mode. Is there a way to enter the options program without starting the car? I've tried acc and multiple combinations, but no dice. It's an 08 convertible. Any help?

If you've got a manual transmission, the clutch has to be pushed in to start the engine.

So.....put it in neutral and without stepping on the clutch pedal, push the top of the ignition button as if to start the car. That will power up everything without cranking the engine.

If you've got an automatic, I dunno what to do! I think you need to push on the brake pedal to get it to crank, so you might be able to get everything to power up by pushing the top of the ignition button but without stepping on the brake pedal.

Good luck!!

On automatic you need to press the bottom of the start to enter into ACC mode

To put the car into the engine off, ignition on mode, press the bottom of the start switch and hold for >5 sec.

Thanks, I'll try that. It's an automatic.
