I have sent the computer off Chuck CoW for a 'tune'. When I get it back and reinstall it is there anything special I should do or look out for?
I did read about window indexing. I suspect one would do that to both windows.
I also purchased a Vararam intake and a 160 thermostst, any tricks to that.
Bear in mind this is my first Vette. I am used to working on 30's classics. This is a whole different ball game!
With the vararam make sure it seals good around the filter. If you cut the radiator shroud with it still in the car put something behind it so you don't cut into anything else. Others on here have made that mistake.

You do have to index both windows.
The only additional thing I did was drill a small hole in the 160 degree thermostat before reinstalling it to eleminate the possability of having any trapped air behind the thermostat. But if you work on older cars, like I do, you probably already know that trick.
Good advice. I didn't realize the radiator shrowd would have to be altered. Is it tough to get out?
The car is too low for my floor jack to fit under, so I used a scissors jack that I have in the shop.YUCK! Is there a a low profile air powered hydraulic jack that works well?

It wasnt a whole long time ago that I blew the rad cap right off of a 36 Auburn that I 'thought' I had blead the air off. THAT was a mess. I now put a hole in all thermostats.

You can cut the shroud without having to remove it, but be careful not to penetrate the coils that are directly behind it. There are several low profile hydraulic jacks that fit under the C6 without a problem. I have the Omega low profile and it works great.
