Corvette windshield question

I've owned and driven new cars for too many years! All windshields become fine pitted from sand and debris hitting our windshields. It's normal wear and tear.
I have always waxed, now Zaino my windshield. Just like your body clear coat finish, the polish hides some of the fine pitting. If you apply the polish, or wax for all you behind the times guys, and buff it out, you won't have any hazing.
Oh, yes....safety tip, don't follow the tri-axle dump trucks carrying sand/stone material, if's like following a "sandblaster"! Stomp it and pass them quickly. If you don't believe me, follow one and hold your hand out the window.
