If anyone is having issues with removing the map light bulbs in the rear view mirror I figured out a quick way to do it. I was struggling with trying to pry them out and then as in another thread use a pair of vice grips adjusted just so. None of this worked for me.
I wound up taking a 4" plastic tie wrap(zip tie) and made a loop in it about the same diameter as the bulb. I pressed the loop over the bulb and pulled the tie wrap taught, pulled on it and presto! The bulb popped right out. Hope this helps.

These led are tough to take good pictures of. Here are a few I have taken. These are the superbright stips JW sells.
