I am in the process of trading my 08 base for a used z06.I have the bose system in my car now.The z has the nav. It's not something I would have ordered but the price is right for me on the z.How much trouble would it be to swap out the nav for the six cd player I would have ordered. Is this crazy I have read not to many like the nav and I like the 6 cd player I have now.Maybe this is a stupid question I would like to know if anyone has done this?

Why would you want the 6 disc? The nav plays MP3 discs meaning you can get more music on a single disc than you would on 6 factory CDs.
As said, give the nav a chance. Read the factory manual and Talon's sticky thread and you will probably never want another Corvette without the factory nav.

I would tend to agree with the previous post. You could get a PAL and an i-pod, Ray's cable, pay 29.99 on mp3rocket .com, have all the music you could ever imagine and then some, all for under $300. I recently downloaded over 800 songs. No more buying cd's at all. Check it out.
