Another anniversary this weekend, our 21st. The wife and I stopped by the Chevy in Tyson's Corner, VA with the intent to snoop around a GS Vert.......Not one single GS to be had. This dealer had at least 4 there for the past couple of months and not always the same ones. Well, NOT ONE TO BE HAD!!!! But.....they did have two ZR1s, blue and black and a hand full of 09s and 10s, bone stock, couldn't even tolerate looking at em.
Yeah, we're spontaneous like that, kinda glad they didn't have any, my wife would have bugged me to infinity. I kinda dig her car and can't imagine starting over again. Guess another year will have to go by.
On a side note, I did convince her two new pistols from the Dulles Gun Show is almost as good, yeeee haaawwww!!!!!

She was with me. She walked over to the ZR1 and said, isn't this one? I told her to look at the sticker.
I appreciate you calling the ambulance for her.I understand the EMT's revived her just in time for her say Nooooooooooooo! then she passed out again from sticker shock. Thanks again

Hi Chris, They can call me directly as the Callaway Corvette rep at Criswell Chevrolet to arrange an appointment to drive your SC606 Grand Sport. Hope to see you before we drive at Spring Mountain in Nevada next month.

I'm trying to figure the angles as to why you "couldn't even tolerate looking at" the bone stock '09s and '10s. Each of these cars is faster and handles much better than any base model vette in history. In fact, you have to look really hard within past generations to find ANY model that will out perform these lowly "bone stock" vettes.
I guess we are supposed to infer something from your distaste of the "ordinary" vette. Tell you what, get out your checkbook and buy a ZR1.....
if i drove a callaway or a ZR1 for that matter i would buy one on the spot more then likely. Its kinda like every time i go to a golf course,,,, no matter how hard i try i always seem to end up playing

I'm not sure what performance has to do with looks.
1. ALL the C6s you see on lots look like they're jacked as high as possible on their stock bolts, creating at LEAST a 2" gap between the tires and fenders.
2. There's nothing personal to a C6 on the lot.
3. The average passerby would say the same about my wife's, but the enthusiast can pick out at least 5 at first glance
