Hello brothers and sisters. After years of lurking here I finally have a vette of my own. My wife and I hopped on a plane in early January for a quick flight from Southern Cal to Northern Cal to grab a deal on a leftover 2009. After the transaction we drove the 400 or so miles home in our new baby. I couldn't be happier. Best part of trip was shortly after settling in on the freeway I was passed by a beautiful silver early 60s split window and received my first Corvette wave. Thanks to everyone on the forum for helping me keep the dream alive all these years.

Congratulations on your new Corvette!
I like to invite you down to our monthly GTG at The Block in Orange.
We get about 30 Vettes every month, great bunch of guys and gals.
We always take a cruise somewhere after the GTG and have lunch at our destination.
