I tried a 56 rear offset and it rubbed on hard cornering. Went back to 79. It probably wouldn't rub the fender if it wasn't lowered. I avoid using spacers or adapters.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. I need to find out who they bought them from.

What rear tire size is everyone going with when running the repro Z06's?

Stock lug nuts on stock wheels will give you 8 full turns on the threads.
This should be the norm for aftermarket repos as well. With 1/4 inch spacers you will lose 4 to 5 turns only leaving you 3 to 4 turns with stock lug nuts. Using Extended thread lug nuts will give you back about 3 full turns. So, if you use 1/4 inch spacers, extended thread lug nuts you will still have 6 to 7 complete turns on the stud bolts. If you are like me, I am very picky about my car, so unless someone can chim in and provide better research, I feel your car will be just fine, with the above information. Also, do like me, and just check you lug nuts about once a month.

Thought I'd throw this out since the thread is about Z06 replica wheels. I've been sitting on these NIB set of WWC 18x9.5 & 19x10 Z06 rims. Can't quite decide if I should sell 'em or hold on to them.

If you a search for the Ace Alloys "slick" wheel on the forum (www.acealloywheel.com) you will find that they are a Z06-like repro.

Many guys on the forum run these including me. The fronts are 9.5" or 10" (can't remember exactly right no) and the rears are 11" wide and both have a more aggresive offset that pushes the wheel out to the fender edge. Being 11" wide, the rears will let you run a 325 mm wide tire on the back which is Z06 size.

Best of all, these wheels also clear the Z06 big brakes - front and rear and you will not have to mess with spacers of any kind.

I bought mine at discount tire direct....

I don't have the knid of pic from the back you are looking for, but if you do a search on the forum you will find them.

All-in-all a very good alternative
