Intermittent Starting
I sent that info to two chevy dealers and it still took the second dealer over a month to find the problem. The first dealer had my car about 75% of the time for 3 months and never found the problem so I took it to another dear to get a fresh set of eyes on it. If I may expound on Michael's post, hopefully to help others quickly (cheaply) zero in to the issue.
According to the Mechanic, the connector was located under the fuse box in the engine compartment and connects directly to the fuel pump as Michael indicated. The mechanic said he believed it loosened do to heat caused by poor cabling. He extended the cable length to prevent it from happening again. If your mechanic is a real slow learner, ask him to trace all wires from the starter to their termination point and the one that goes to the junction area under the fuse box should solve the problem.
