Dead Bug inside headlight
#21
condensation is normal in these headlights....happens to me all the time and they just dry out...no big deal

wow, gm warranties everything if they'll replace the dead bug free. Can I get a different species if I ask my dealer nicely?

I just had one !
The rubber cover on the inboard headlight had come loose, and the sneaky critter found it.
There is just enough room for the fishtank tube catheter...

I had the same issue on the left side, including finding the dust boot loose. Used this tip and it worked great, the only problem I had was the tubing I used, from a brake bleeding kit ( was not used to bleed brakes, so was still clean). The tubing was very soft and did not want to go where I wanted it to go, but it took a while and I got the little critter.
Thanks for the great little tip.

I've got a moth in my front left light, too. It's been there for years. I'm going go try this when I detail it this winter. Amazing how common some problems are.
