Or, you could take it to the local Chevy dealer and tell them it needs service, take care of what it needs.

He's refering to grease fitting on his car. Vettes (base) do not have grease fittings I learned when I had my '09 Z51 LS3 Roadster. BUT, Z51 DOES have TWO grease fittings on the OUTER REAR toe links (Z06 design). When your Vette up in air, look at rear wheels towards inside bottom of wheel and you'll find it. They are the ONLY grease fittings on a base Vette (as I know it) Do NOT know yet about Z06 (my present Vette just bought a month ago). Does anyone know? It only has 800 miles on it at present but will need it in a few months. I always do my initial oil change (on my new Vettes) at 3k miles.

What about the fuel filter...every 50,000 is my thought..at least that is what I did on my previous auto....SLK320

I believe the fuel filter is in one of the tanks and is considered a "permanent" part. If the filter needs replacement, it might be cheaper just to buy a new car.
