OK, after all my complaining about the issues my new GS had... its time to be a proud Vette owner and share some photos. For those that have any doubts about my love of vettes, I have included some side-by-sides with my C3 as well.

Which do you think is the prize favorite? I'll never tell.

(first pix/vids off of my droid cellphone so I hope it goes well..)

As this next video shows, the 77 is definitely the loudest... even after pulling the exh.mod fuse in the GS.

Fantastic pics! Love the wwwidebbbbody GS.

I had a mint '78 - part of a swap for my '08. The C3's have a wonderful look, especially with off-roads. I'm guessing it's not stock. My '78 had something like a mean 220 hp. What was that all about? (Emissions and attempts at fuel economy I guess.) The potential was there, but I never did much to it except for adding dual exhausts.

I always get a lump in my throat when I see a C3 - but I would much rather be driving my C6 which has a little more than 220 hp lol.

Vettes - you gotta love 'em!

Enjoy those great rides.

Nice color combo on GS. Looks like bk/red interior is catching on. I love my 08 vert crm, bk/red int.

Back in the day I had a 1966 vert. I was going to buy another but the technology of today told me no. They are all great cars but lets face it, if you could pick one to drive now, what would it be?

Thanks for the kind words.
I was going to attach a video too, but it looks like the U-tube is having issues.

neither car is completely stock.

The GS has been changed up in minor ways too.
(hopefully tastefully done.)

I had the red (more like "pink") speaker grilles in the doors replaced with black ones by the dealer before I took it. I just didn't care for it.

Also, I felt the full length spoiler was the way to go on the GS so I had that added.

I'l try to get the vid up soon.

Do not recall the issues you had with your GS but as far as looks go it is a beauty. Hope the issues got resolved and you are enjoying it. Your C3 looks hot as well.
