C6 Question

I currently have an 01 coupe and a buddy of mine just bought a red 06 coupe with 10K miles on it. He won't keep the car no longer than 4-5 months before he gets bored and sells it. He said he would give me first chance at it if I wanted and I could probably get it for about $28K, just wondering if that would be a good deal. It is a 2006 Red coupe 6 speed with a little over 10K miles on it, the car looks like it is brand new. Just needing some advice on the price.

It must be driving them hard if he only keeps them for a few months. I think I would buy someplace else.

Actually he has done this as long as I have known him which has been since like 95. He is fairly well off and he just gets bored easily and buys something different. He has had over 35 vehicles since I have known him, he takes really good car of them and usually makes money on them don't think he has ever lost money on the deals.

You know Corvettes, so you shouldn't see any surprises . . .see if you can get him to pull a VIS report from the dealer showing repairs and warranty work done.

It's somewhat contingent on the economy, and 6 months out prices will soften abit with Fall - but $28 +/- sounds fair if it's well cared for.

All depends on its history. Obviously he is the second owner at least. Also remember buying something this expensive from a friend might ruin the friendship.
