I am a flowmaster fan. Have on my dodge truck in stainless steel and love it. How come for my 2007 vette it does not come in stainless steel? Alll the competitors out there have are 304 stainless. Anyone else feel the same way, confused?

have you experience any problems in the non stainless steel models?

Alot of people get stuck on stainless and stainless is the best don't get me wrong. But, I had a flowmaster catback on my '04 GTO for 3 years including the Indiana winters. It was not stainless but aluminized steel. The coating of aluminum protects the stell really well. I am sure that is what the Vette system is.

When I switched from OEM h/pipe to ARH x/pipe my installer/tuner told me how crimped and banged up they were from the initial install and as a result they fit horribly on the ARH, had a minor leak and were really crooked out back
. I now run SLP Loudmouth II's
So... if you ever plan on headers DONT buy the FMs

I love the muscle car sound of the Flowmasters on my '06. They look the same as the day I installed them two years ago.
