Be Honest...
The 'Vettes are considered to be 'my' cars but I would certainly let her drive them. My '84 I bought new on her birthday in May 1983 when we weren't even officially engaged. That one has been kept all these years with the constant reminder that we got the car that evening rather than going out to dinner! She knew what she was getting into 27 years ago, so not like I've changed. My '05 would be OK for her to drive if she knew how/wanted to learn how drive a stick, but there is no interest. If I buy another new one, keeping the '05, it may be an auto to allow her to use it. She likes the cars and a lot of the related activities and doesn't really question my purchases.
When you've been married for 33 years everything is "ours", but in reality it's mine, she has never driven it, and hasn't driven a manual transmission since 1984. I'll bet she still could, and I'd like to have her try it sometime. She loves riding in it though.

If you ask me it's ours. If you ask her she'll say it's mine. She can drive it anytime she wants but it's been four years since we bought it and so far she hasn't driven it. The electronics scare her. She's old school and would rather have a 67, 69, or another 82.
Technically it was "our" decision to buy a convertible for weekends. I sold her on the fact that the Corvette was fun to drive and we'd both enjoy top-down weekend drives. However, I recently installed a Supercharger and now she's scared $hitless to drive it. Now it's all mine...
When she's not referring to it as "her" vette she calls it ours. Of course I tell her it's mine and she says fine then when it's paid off she gets the new car. I quickly change and say alright it's ours because once it's paid off I want the new one to be strictly mine.
it is "MY" car... she thinks spending the money to buy it was stupid, but we obviously have a difference of opinion there. She can't drive a stick, so she probably will never drive it but she is getting into going for drives with me with the top off.
My Car. Although I would let her "test" drive it (if she too got over the fear of damaging it) but only because she owns custom choppers and therefore appreciates the Vette and she is trained in pursuit driving, so I know she can handle it.

"The Beast" is definitely MY car.
The wife is scared to drive it.
However, she has Fob#2 and her settings are "Beauty". If she ever drove it, I wouldn't have a problem with it

It is registered to my wife and myself. She picked out color and equipment package, she drives it more than me. We have three vehicles, she picks out what she wants to drive and i take whats left, lol.
Mine, and after 5 years with my 05, she has never driven it. I have offered a couple of times but she doesn't want too! Guess she knows if anything happened I would freak out. She has her own toy a '57 356 speeder.
The Vette is all mine. The wife doesn't drive it. I know that the Vette is mine because my name is on the title, my name is on the registration and the wife doesn't help pay for it (it's financed).
I also know that it's mine because the lawyers say it's mine (I'm going through the big D right now - and it has nothing to do with what I said above).
