It's mine, and my wife never drives it.
I don't even think she likes being in it.
She jokes that I love me car more than I love her.
Of course, we all know that's not true....
The 'vette is my car, but part of the reason I bought it was so I could feel better with my g/f driving it. The Cobra is my car as well, but I'm much more concerned with her in a 500 hp 6 speed than the tamer 'vette. She hasn't driven it yet, but she's more than welcome to.
GRMSVT is hers; 07 A6. The 01 M6 is mine although she can drive a stick. Whenever we go places in her car I usually drive. I hardly ever drive the C6 just by myself except to "exercise" it after a wash or when it needs gas. The few times we drive into S.F. during commute hours we usually take her car so we can run the HOV (commute) lanes and I usually drive. And the A6 is more enjoyable than my M6 in traffic.
My wife HATED the idea of me buying a Corvette. She hated my Boxter and my BMW Z3 as well. She cleaned the garage out so we could "hide" it from the neighbors.
Then it came (2010 GS convertible, Torch red). She LOVES it. I took her out to teach her how to drive it (yes, she used to own a stick) and she did perfectly.
She says she will be happy to drive this from time to time (for example, if I have a few drinks at dinner, etc.). That's a first.
I continue to be really impressed with this car. It really is a nice car.
It is my car and she hasn't driven it yet even though I tried to get her to drive it.
She knows how I am with my vehicles and she's happy I have it.
She loves to ride in it and we go out in it a lot but she's happy just riding in it.
Her own car is a Mini Cooper S and she really likes that
The car is mine and she is perfectly okay with that. I would let her drive it, however, she never will because if she scratched it she would never be allowed to come home
One good thing about marrying a "redneck"... she loves NASCAR and driving her SUV.
In the nearly 5 years that I've had my Corvette, my wife has driven it once. It's kind of strange - she loves cars and drives ONLY manuals, but she doesn't like driving MY car. Come to think of it, I don't think she's crazy about me driving HER car either.
I retired early at the end 0f 2001. I had purchased 9 vettes since 1970. My wife found her passion in the stock market just as I was retiring and it turns out she is very good at it. When the C6 appeared, she actually pleaded with me to get one. I waited out the first year and then got my 06. She wrote the check out of her investment account.
I have loved each vette that I owned, but this one is special in every way.

You sir are one lucky man. You have truly found a keeper! Congrats!
