Default Help battery dead can't get in car.

The battery in my 05 convt is totally dead and I can't unlock the car to open the hood and the owners manual is inside the car. Is there a way to manually unlock it or release the hood from outside?

Thanks

Do you have the key that fits in the key slot above the license plate?

If you do you can open the trunk and then pull the cable to open front door.

If you don't have a key your dealer can probably mahe you one from the VIN .

See the C6 2005 User Manual page 2-14/15 in the C6 FAQ sticky at the top of the page.

Use the key. It goes in above the rear license plate. Once inside the trunk, pull the door release cord that is located above the driver side rear wheel well.

You do have a key, right?

Link to on-line owners manual in the FAQ section:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...tions-new.html

Once opened, I believe there's a pull that will open the doors - - I've got a coupe, so once you're in, you can pop the handles on the floor next to the seat.

I'm sure others can advise or you'll see the way in the trunk.

Once you solve this problem, find a place outside the vehicle to store the owner's manual.
