i would like to do alighment i did lower the car and have wider new wheels
some charge 150 some around 60 i am confused
why
what should i consider, some times i autocross as well

Doing it with a ruler. level, and laser cost me about $80. I prefer the old school way because you know the calibration of the "test equipment". It might take longer but you can visually see it is right or wrong and you don't have to pay for an expensive set-up.
The Hunter and/or The John Bean Alignment machines are tops. I typically pay $75 for 4 wheel alignments on my Corvette and it is done at the Race Shop (Phoenix Performace) by extremly qualified personell. These guys know Corvettes big time.
IF you autocross just "sometimes" I'd suggest you just get a normal street alignment.
One thing they do with my car (and every car Phoenix aligns) is put weight in the drivers seat equal to my weight when the car is on the rack being aligned. Ask your shop to do that, it makes alot of sense.
