Seriously?

I won't ever buy another new one if I ever buy another one.So true. Usually nothing good ever comes of it.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

The only consolation I have is that I was only able to locate four 2010 cars on JeffHardy's site that fit my option criteria, and only two of those were within 500 miles. If I had waited for a "better deal" who's to say if either of those cars would have still been available... Then I would have been forced to order a 2011 model, with NO incentive.
Such is life.
NO more clicking on incentive threads in this section!
I get the "awww,man" factor,but I wouldn't suggest pursuing it any farther.

Perhaps you can talk with the dealership about possibly originating a 0% financing agreement and close the finance agreement with your personal bank or credit union.
Got my local dealer to match a great quote on a 2010 VY GS Coupe that I got from one of the forum dealers, so I had him put an order in at in mid-February.
At the time, he said the allocation he had was for March, so it would be a couple weeks until it would go in, that thecar probably wouldn't show up until mid-April at the earliest.
I was fine with this because, at the time, I wasn't in any big hurry for the care to show up much before then since the weather around here usually isn't conducive to driving a Vette in April anyway, so I was willing to wait. Definitely didn't want the car showing up in March anyway (we usually are still getting snow in March here in upstate NY).
Well, wouldn't you know it, GM took the order in right away and I ended up with a TPW of March 8th instead of near the end of the month! My car ended up showing up the last week of March. At the time, there weren't any incentives in March. Since it was so close to April, I asked the dealer to see if he could find it if there might be any incentives coming in April. He talked to the regional rep and was told there was nothing planned for Corvettes. So, I decided not to wait a week and closed the deal at the end of MArch.
Well, you can probably guess I wasn't happy when a week later, GM announce the $1000 rebate on Corvettes. The dealer said he'd try and talk to the GM rep and see if they could do anything. Apparently not since he never got back to me ( I probably should have followed up on it but got busy with work and before I knew it, April was over).
I really would have liked to have gotten the 0% financing deal that's going on now instead of the $1000 cash back. Part of me thinks I should have waited a bit longer before taking the plunge. However, I console myself with the fact that we had a much milder than normal March and weather in April was spectacular, so I've been getting to drive the car quite a bit. Plus there's a high speed autocross this Saturday and a lo-speed autocross next weekend, which I wouldn't be able to run in if I had waited to order the car. Now, I've had my Grand Sport long enough that it's been through the proper break-in period and is ready to race!!
