Had the same thing happen to me with a Tahoe, Bought it on a Friday, 6.9% w/ $1,000.00 cash back, Monday they had 0% w/ $3,000.00 cash back, I was very unhappy at the time.
Same boat, just purchased at 2010 GS vert 3LT three weeks ago, and the $1000 was the tipping point for my wife and I on top of a great deal and service from Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, FL (just outside of Tampa). Any chance an email to GM would generate results for any of us? $2000 is nothing to "sneeze" about.

You can bet they will get one from me, even though I don't really expect anything to come of it.
I just ordered mine today, sorry to the OP, but Im glad I waited. Today is the last day to special order a 2010.
correct me if i'm wrong, but you only get the incentive at the time of delivery. which means, unless there is a 0 for 60 or 3k rebate at that time a few weeks from now, you wont get that deal.
Well here's the deal for me. I have a VERY good relationship with my dealer. I am a lifelong GM customer and have bought new Escalade's, Denali's, Corvettes, etc. I have shown a lot of loyalty to GM over the years and I am a cash buyer so they couldn't even say I finance with somebody else. When I bought my GS on a Friday there was no rebate. On the following Tuesday, the $1,000.00 rebate came out. I contacted my dealer Muzi Chevrolet in Needham MA and asked if there was any way I could get the rebate applied since only a few days had passed. The GSM who I consider a friend said he had never done that before but that he would inquire with his area rep. The area rep told me to basically go pound sand. I next emailed a very high-ranking exec at GM North America and explained my story as well as my long, loyal history with GM. I didn't say "give me the rebate or I will by Fords from now on" or anything like that, I just politely explained my position. Two days later I got a call from someone at GM corporate who took more information from me and said they would get back to me within a week. Five days later I got a call from my dealer telling me to come pick up my $1000 check.
I have been loyal to GM and they showed that same loyalty back to me so I am a more than satisfied customer. I really think GM is going out of their way to retain existing customers and/or attract new ones.
I am not going to post the GM contact info here because I don't want to be responsible for the woman being bombarded with a million requests, but I know your a computer savvy lot and won't have much trouble coming up with an email address or two that should work. I would advise following the chain of command and starting with your dealer and going from there. You might luck out and you might not, but it's worth a try. Good luck!!

The car will be paid for before the end of the month of May .
