I am not showing that phone as a phone that can be used with the system. Here is a link that may help you out:

I do apologize, but the link you gave me is not a GM site. Only the phones that are on our site have been tested. If you click on the Chevrolet icon and select Corvette, your phone is not showing up. Just because it is not on our site, does not mean that it will not work. It just means that it has not been tested. The Bluetooth site you viewed is just saying that the phone does have the capability to have the headset function work with the 2009 Corvette. The rest of the functions are not showing they will work. I can not even say for sure that the headset part will work. These are claims made by a third party. According to my sources, I do not believe that phone will work properly.

I understand your frustrations completely. I know there are a lot of phones that have not been tested that do work. Have you tried another phone to make sure the problem is not the system itself? Maybe have the dealership take a look at it? Really, the only thing I could do is give you the instructions in the manual. The bluetooth site says that the headset function should work. That is why I think maybe there could possibly be a problem with the system. Again, I apologize and wish I could be of more assistance on this issue.

I'm having the same issues as you and the phone runs so slow it's not worth trying to use in the car through Bluetooth. I do use the same phone in my Ford with sync service and have no issues. I have not tried another phone in the Vette but may try that at a later date.
What version of Mocrosoft Windows Mobile is on your phone?
Is the Bluetooth Car Kit a factory install?
And does your wife's phone, if different, work in your car?
Maybe I will get some real answers. I will keep up the fight. I sure seems like one. I do love my car. But I have to drive it with a bluetooth headset on. Witch I hate.
I have a question how can a new $29.99 headset work with my phone but not a new $81,000 car not?

It would make the hands-free connection via Bluetooth and I could make and recieve calls just fine, but forget trying to use the phone while the hands-free connection was active.
If you're not afraid of messing around with the registry settings on your phone, I found the following registry changes fixed the problem for me:
1. Modify the HandsFree plug-in: HKLM\Software\WIDCOMM\Plugin\HandsFree
i. Change SupportedFeatures to 45 (default is 1135 mine was 1379)
ii. Add value HFBDA binary, set to same value as LastConnectedBda
iii. Add value HFDeviceType DWORD 2
2. Modify the WIDCOMM bluetooth general settings: HKLM\Software\WIDCOMM\BtConfig\General
i. Change bdaddr to (no value) delete the existing key value
ii. Change DisableReopenAudio to 0 (default is 1) I didn't have this registry key so I created it with DWORD value 0
3. Reboot device
The thread where I found this is here:

Another recommendation is to check with Verizon (or whoever) and see if they've released a software update for the phone. The latest update for the HTC Imagio is supposed to have an updated bluetooth stack that's supposed to work better. I haven't tried it yet because my phone is working fine right now and I don't want to mess with it.

Thank you,
ed
Thank you Ray,
I downloaded MobileRegistryEditor.exe
Change SupportedFeatures to 45
Change bdaddr to (no value) delete the existing key value
Reboot device
and it worked!
I could not find
ii. Add value HFBDA binary, set to same value as LastConnectedBda
iii. Add value HFDeviceType DWORD 2
Change DisableReopenAudio to 0 (default is 1) I didn't have this registry key so I created it with DWORD value 0
but It still worked. My OS is stable now.
Again thank you!!
ed
ps Bluetooth.org said GM will have a fix this summer.
pss Thanks to all of the people that tried to help me.

The 2 items:
ii. Add value HFBDA binary, set to same value as LastConnectedBda
iii. Add value HFDeviceType DWORD 2
These are new keys you need to create under HKLM\Software\WIDCOMM\Plugin\HandsFree
But if it's working fine without them, maybe they're not really needed.
