I looked at the FAQ section but did not see this listed. If you have the VIN number of the car is there a way to find out what are the options that it came with? Or is there a plate on the car that lists the option codes?

Look in the glove compartment. There's your option plate. The NCM can provide a duplicate build sheet and for many (most?) can also provide an original sheet that was on the car as it went through the factory.
