I had to take the battery out of my 2009 C6 coupe. After I put it back in the power windows do not seal the doors after the doors are closed. Everything else seems to works fine. I cna raise and lower the windows completely and the windows go down a little to release the seal when the driver or passenger doors is opened but the window do not go up and seal after the door is closed. I am able to raise the window for either door when in the car to obtain the seal but I can't do that after I exit the car so my driver window door is not sealed when I exit the car. Looked at the fuse boxes but I can't fiqure out what fuse would control this. Any help would be appreciated!!!
Close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.
This is called resetting of the window indexing or power window initialize and is in the owner's manual. See page 2-17 of the 2005 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2006 owner’s manual, page 87 of the 2007 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2008 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2009 owner's manual, ,or page 3-18 of the 2010 owner's manual. -JFP
Will need to be done every time after the battery is disconnected, then reconnected.
Also, you'll need to do both windows.

That did the trick, thanks!!! I searched the forum and missed your reply on the same problem to elacuse13 on 01-15-2010. You're the best!!! Anything else I should check based on the window seal not resetting after re-installing the battery?

Only very rarely has anyone had to reset anything else. I'd say about 99% of the time, you're okay.
