Cruise Control
Driving Sunday I couldn't get the cruise control to work on my 07, 60 mile trip and I tried it several times and gave up.
On the return trip it worked perfectly, several times on and off in traffic.
I assume it goes through the computer. Does this sound like a simple computer glitch where restarting the engine corrected it? It never happened before.
Or should I take it in with 6 months left on the warranty?

At least 2 different problems have been reported here with the cruise control. Some folks were able to get it to work by simply lifting the brake petal with the top of their foot.
However, several of us had to take it to the dealer. They had to replace the BCM (Body Control Module) on my 06 A6.
If yours is intermittent, it's probably not the BCM, but I'd check any connections I could. Maybe you can find more info. from another thread.

Raining again today.
I've had my car two years now and have never tried the cruise control!
