My car is still very new to me, less than a month. I just got the Corsa Sports on, and I ran into a friend I had not seen for about 4 months. He commented that I looked very tan, and I explained that I don't have a roof on my car
So, he asked what I got, and of course we had to go out to see the car (we were at the mall).
Well, he wanted a ride, so I started her up (we are top down of course). I noticed that at the end of the parking lot in a VERY open area there was a driver's ed car teaching somoene new how to drive.
So, you have a friend who asks you to show him the car, you love your new car and exhaust and want to show it off, you have a safe area to play around, and I think it makes the whole situation a lot laughable that a driver's ed car was there.
Drive away. You would not be setting a very good example for the people in driver ed - and just adding to the 'bad' publicity we sometimes get as Vette owners.
No good deed goes un-punished... You show off for your friend... cops bust you... It is easier when you get older... people don't expect us to 'Show-Off"..
