Arnold Chevy/Buick on Montauk Highway in Babylon.
Babylon, for those of you not familiar with Long Island, NY geography, is what I do when I talk about vettes. I babble on.

I was not aware of this show, but there are 2 upcoming shows on Long Island, Jun 13 in Riverhead, Eagle Chevrolet and Jul 11, Paul Conte Chevrolet in Freeport.

Me either, what exit is the one on June 13? are you going? I think i may take the vert out for a quick look.
I guess you arent attending , anyone else heading there, would like to meet, maybe ride together, each in their own vettes of course.

I was at the show on Sunday and it was a great day with plenty of Vettes on show from C-1's to C-6's. A beautiful compilation of beautiful machines. I parked across the street and when I left to go, there were almost as many Vettes there, as in the show. Man, I love the summer with these shows.

Keep in mind our C6's owe a lot of their styling to the C3's (particularly the '73) ...

Nice pics!!! Beautiful cars!

Hey, while on the topic of Long Island Chevy dealers here, what dealer would you guys recommend for having my roof top replaced / repainted (under recall)? Needless to say it's important to me to receive stellar service, and I absolutely do not want to leave my car anywhere overnight, etc. I've heard good things about Arnold so far....

Sorry if this is slightly off topic, but it seems that this is the right crowd to ask. Thanks! Will try to make it to the Eagle and/or Conte show.

Good question. My car hasn't been in a Chevy service department since I picked it up. I use the Vette Doctors. Now I've got the recall for Active Handling and can't bring myself to do it. Any one have experience with Arnold?

Howdy SilverDevil... I dig it, I've had my car for over 4.5 years now and it never once had to go back to the dealer... and of course there have been a lot of changes with Chevy / Corvette dealers on Long Island over the past year anyway. So hopefully we can figure out which existing Long Island GM / Chevy dealers are most Vette-friendly, do top-notch work and will treat us right.

Side note... for non-dealer work (repairs, high-performance mods, tires etc), I'll just mention, I highly recommend Elite Auto in Port Jefferson, so far these are the only guys that have ever touched my car (precision wheel alignment) and I was extremely happy with the work and the experience. This is a very clean, no-baloney shop, with new state of the art equipment, they treat your car with utmost respect and do top-quality precision work.

Eagle Chevy in Riverhead... take the L.I.E. to the very end, very last exit, get on Route 58 east, then go down a bit, pass Riverhead Raceway, keep going, will be on the left side. I've passed it a million times, easy to find.
