My 06 SRT8 300 has it and I always wondered why GM missed this, years ago with my 1st C6 (06 A6). They finally got around to it on the 2010 GS ....damn
You may be right but this is exactly what sours customer loyalty, something GM needs to start to cultivate, and why they're in the position they're in today.
GM might also consider that firmware upgrades make all of the cars, (used ones too) more valuable.
Even if a transmission were upgradeable for a reasonable cost it would improve the breed and make for good customer relations.
